There are quite a few places online to buy chinese furniture. Just use google to search for each specific piece by type and you should be able to locate them pretty easily. For example, if you are looking for a chinese dinner table then go to google.com and type in "chinese dinner table" (with the quotes).

What exactly are you looking for? I would say get something very modern and decorate your kitchen. Also Japanese designs are little slicker and fancier then Chinese designs.

Antique dealers/appraisers do this for a living. Be prepared to pay for the time, the gas, and the trip. Is the value that important to you? I don't think you are going to get by for less than about 150.00, probably more for this appraisal...but if it is valuable, you will need an appraisal for insurance reasons.
