Do any of antique furniture have come up to you and ....?
Would you be willing to sell if the price was right or keep it for sentimental reasons to convey to the family? My dad still has his mother to sell the sewing machine. Uses it as a lamp table accent. It is no longer operational.
A wooden rocking chair that belonged to my great grandfather. My grandmother (1901-2002) was rocked to sleep in it. She shook my dad to sleep in it. My mom used to rock sleep. My three children were hit by many times that. Now, my son and his wife have. His three sons have rocked to sleep in it, and I can not wait for the twins to arrive and feel the gentle movement.
