Does anyone know anything about the "Lido" or "it was George" ancient China?

I have a beautiful set of antique porcelain that belonged my grandmother, but have no information on it. China has a pattern of intricate gold leaf around the edges and has a floral print in pastel colors. The stamp on the back reads "George Lido-WS - Canarytone - Made in USA - 138A." Here are some pictures that can help a collector or someone who is familiar with antique china identify their origin, age and value (which, of course, is priceless to me because it was a gift from my Grandmother) http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff190/Maryann1214/Plates/ Lido138A.jpg http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff190/Maryann1214/Plates/Lidogoldedge.jpg http://i241. If photobucket.com/albums/ff190/Maryann1214/Plates/Lidofloralcloseup.jpg http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff190/Maryann1214/Plates/Lidostamp.jpg You know something about this China or have a suggestion where I could learn more, please let me know. I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

You've piqued my interest. I found a few web-sites and hillhousewares.com wsgeorge.jdfiles.org. I wish I could help more. I would call 'price' of China and keep it forever.
