i need help designing my bedroom?! i'm 15 and want it kinda cool vintage but more adaptable?

i'm totally redesigning my bedroom it's a largish rectangle room, with built in wardrobes but i can get rid of them. i have a green carpet, but i might be able to get rid of that. although a wooden floor would probably go more with the style of room i'm after, i want a carpet. i really like designs like this,

but i also really like kitcsh things, and cute toys like dinosaurs and bows and some scene and retro things. i don't want to many patterns so i can buy things which will fit in easily.
the colours i would concider for my room are yellow, blue, purple and possibly green?
can you fabulous people help me put together colour schemes and ideas?

where should i sell this vintage toy?

I'm trying to sell a vintage toy called the "pony tinker" made by the Toy Tinkers Inc. and I am unsure of where to sell it and what price to ask for it. It was manufactured in 1924 and it has a small wooden man riding on a horse and when you pull the toy the man bobs up and down. It's in almost perfect condition except the little bit thing that attached the horses head to the riders hands is broken. Other than that none of the paint is chipped and besides the metal parts losing their luster its in really good condition. Any ideas on where and for how much to sell it?

I need help identifying a vintage toy from the 1950s or 1960s, please help!?

My father described a toy to me that he used to play with when he was a child. It consisted of a thin piece of metal (about the diameter of a bicycle spoke) and it was capped on the ends with small wooden balls. In the middle of the spoke was a disc that you could spin and it would then travel back and forth over the length of the rod. I've tried searching for gryoscope toys from yesteryear, but have not had any luck. He (of course) cannot remember what it was called. Any ideas?
Also, the disc was tiered, with a few layers but a single hole going through it.... if that helps.
No, it's not whee-lo. It only had a single rail (and the disc in the middle was threaded through the spoke). The disc was plastic, but had tiers of varying diameters. I guess you could spin it, and then tilt the rod so that it would "wobble" down the spoke and hit the bottom, potentially traveling back up the rod, and back and forth.

Which house do you think I should choose for my toys to live in?
