Susan asks…
I own a mikasa fine china pattern tobago #9337 but it discontinued. How do I find out what its worth.?

Ling answers:
Go to ebay, mikasa.com, other websites that sell mikasa. You may be able to find out that way. Also try replacements.com, you can email information to them with any questions you you have (be sure to include photos), they can probably help you. In you search box, type mikasa, you will get enough responses that one of the sites can help you.

Michael asks…
I also have a set of dishes that has Mikasa Fine China jyoto Japan Windsor 8036/X written on the bottom.?
I'ts an old set, about 8-10 pieces, is it worth anything.

Ling answers:
Replacements, LTD has your pattern.

Donna asks…
how do i find the value of fine china. Its Mikasa.?

Ling answers:
Is it something new? If it's new you can just check their website.

James asks…
How much should I sell my fine china for on Craigslist?
I have 12 5-piece place settings plus a 5 piece completer set of Mikasa Cameo Platinum china.
My grandmother also gave me her china so I want to sell mine and keep hers. The other china listings range from $75 to $600. What should I sell mine for?
The stuff I'm selling isn't that important to me... i like it, but I have my Grandmothers now too so that's more important. I need the money more than I need 2 sets of fine china. I can't see selling it on ebay because shipping it would be a huge pain in the butt!

Ling answers:
The amount you paid for it ,start from there and go down. Unless it is a unique, special item. Call up appraisal companies if you want more. They may make offers

Maria asks…
Value of Mikasa Misprinted Plate?
Hi!
Clearing out the estate of of my in-laws and came across a Mikasa Fine Bone China Plate. The print on the bottom inidcates that it is "white silk" A7050, however when I went online, I found that Mikasa "White Silk" pattern A7050 looks nothing like this plate. The A7050 pattern has no color and a muted design, but my plate had pink roses on it. Could this be a misprint by Mikasa? If so, how could I found out its worth? Thanks in advance

Ling answers:
If you had a truly fine china plate that might make it worth something, but Mikasa is not fine china. You can certainly call a local appraiser (they're listed in the Yellow Pages under "Appraisers") or a local art museum to find an appraiser to double check, but again, Mikasa was a large-lot manufacturer that used the term "fine bone china" on everything.
