Antique China Questions About French Antiques Online

James asks…

I love the antique French style of decorating, and I need a little help on finding an antique French phone.?

I have just recently watched Eloise at Christmastime. In one scene, Eloise answers the phone near the front desk (I am not 100% sure on location). When I saw the telephone she answered, I instantly fell in love with it, but I can't seem to find a replica of that type of phone for a reasonable price. I have looked online, and I have searched through all of the websites, but the lowest price I found was in the $100 range. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that sells a white, marble, Antique Phone, with gold trim around the ear pieces. Thank You for all of your help. =)

Lizzie asks…

how much is my accordion worth?

It is a Milanti. I'm guessing thats an Itallian name. The antique store owner I bought it from said it was probably from the 1950's. It's black and white. One bass button and one piano key sticks. I will be getting that fixed though. I tryed looking online to see if I could find a similar one and compare the price, but I had no luck.

ps. i named it Pierre, but thats besides the point. And I know its a french name.
i dont plan to sell it ever. I really want to learn to play it. It would just be nice to know if it was worth anything.

Ling answers:

The accordion in my family goes way back...unfortunately, it was that i didn't receive either of my grandfather's accordians....i ...that is if i had more information on it, or if you ucan email me a picture i will try to connect yo with someone who can giv eyo uthe true value of it...i would be happy to do so..... I am thrilled for you that yu have this and do not know if you want to sell it or just have it as an investment....i honestly have less idea of that thazn opther instruments...thanks

You should post this in the general society and culture...there are a lot of people from the UK on there and one of them might know.....good luck........................
