want to buy an item shown in the TV antique road show . But the show doesnt give the name of the owner of the item or where they live. Any ideas on how I can find the owner and make an offer ?

Almost impossible.
Those shows are taped in advance and reran several times. It's not possible to track down the owner, not any economically sensible way anyway. I'm sure even the show people won't be able to help you.
You should just try antique dealers, ask for exact what it was called, and by whom (the company or person that made it). If they don't have it, ask if they have referrals they can give you to find similar item.
Another good way to find some good digs, is to troll the antique swap meets. They have surprisingly good finds sometimes, but most of the things are priced 50% to 75% of their potential value already, it's hard to find a good bargain.

The original wooden handle has rotted or worn away but the blade and shaft for the handle (all one piece) are still intact

Or if anybody knows anything about what I have. Its a round table It has four chairs and they are all three legged chairs when pushed up to the table It looks like just a table the chairs go into the table and dont stick out my great-great-grandma owned this and I was the only person she wanted to have it. Everyone tells me its worth alot of money but just want to know for sure if it is and how much. Does anyone know about this kind of thing if so help me out please thank you.

Not sure without a picture but you can contact Christy's for an apprasial on these chairs .they are worth what someone will pay that is the antique market.
