What is a good asking price for dinner the old furniture?
I have an old (1920 + / -) Duncan Phyfe style dining set I sell. I having a tough time trying to find an appraiser in my area (SE Michigan) who is interested in giving an assessment only. I meet all antique who just want to offer a price so they can turn around and sell for double. What would a reasonable price to ask for a solid mahogany dining room set (table 6 chairs, cabinet, buffet) in good condition?
